Finding the right after-school activity is about more than just keeping your child busy; it’s about finding a space where they can grow in confidence, coordination, and creativity.
At our Dublin-based ballet school, we specialise in introducing primary school-aged children to the grace and discipline of classical ballet in a warm, nurturing environment.
The primary school years are a vital time for physical and cognitive development. Ballet offers a unique foundation that benefits children far beyond the dance studio.
The Royal Academy of Dance curriculum is specifically designed for students aged 5 upwards, ensuring that the movements are age-appropriate, safe, and—most importantly—engaging.
Physical Excellence: Ballet improves posture, flexibility, and core strength.
Cognitive Focus: Learning choreography requires concentration and memory. This mental “workout” often translates to better focus in the classroom.
Confidence & Poise: Performing a new step or participating in our annual showcases helps children overcome shyness and build a sense of pride in their achievements.
Social Connection: Our classes are a fantastic way for children from across Dublin to make lifelong friends outside of their immediate school circle.

Choosing the right ballet teacher is one of the most important decisions for your child’s training and development. At my school, every student benefits from fully qualified, professional instruction in a safe and positive environment.
As a Registered Teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and a qualified Primary School Teacher, I bring both technical expertise and educational insight to every class. I also regularly complete Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses to ensure my teaching reflects the latest best practices in ballet education. This ensures lessons are carefully structured, developmentally appropriate, and tailored to each student’s individual abilities.
With years of experience preparing students for RAD examinations, I provide expert guidance, clear progression pathways, and a supportive, inclusive environment where every child can thrive. Parents can feel confident that their child is receiving a high standard of ballet training, delivered with care, professionalism, and passion.
I am a part-time Primary School Teacher and a Registered Ballet Teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD).
I have a lifelong passion for both education and the performing arts, and I bring a combination of classroom teaching experience and specialist ballet training to all of my classes.
I have completed my Royal Academy of Dance examinations up to Advanced 1 and am a fully registered RAD teacher. In addition, I am a qualified Primary School Teacher, which supports my structured, child-centred approach to teaching.
The RAD is an internationally recognised organisation that provides a structured ballet syllabus and examination system. Following this syllabus ensures students receive high-quality, progressive training. Being a Registered Teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance means that I have met specific professional standards and am qualified to teach the RAD syllabus. It also means I stay connected to ongoing professional development and uphold high standards in my teaching practice.
Yes, we do offer trial classes. Please get in touch through the website today and we’ll be happy to help organise a trial class for your child.
For the trial period, there’s no need to buy a ballet uniform straight away. We recommend your child simply wears comfortable clothing they can move easily in, such as leggings or a dress. Socks or soft ballet shoes are welcome if you already have them.
Once you decide to continue classes and your child is enjoying ballet, students are asked to wear the official RAD regulation uniform. The uniform can be purchased from Dance World or Dance Emporium.
Ballet is a highly technical discipline that requires correct training to ensure safe practice and proper development. A qualified teacher has the knowledge and training to teach technique accurately, reduce the risk of injury, and support each student’s progression in a structured and appropriate way.
Not all ballet teachers hold recognised teaching qualifications. While many may have performance experience, teaching ballet, particularly to children, requires specific training in technique, anatomy, and pedagogy. My qualifications ensure that students receive safe, high-quality, and structured instruction.
My school is built on a passion for both education and dance. I prioritise a supportive, inclusive environment where every student feels valued. With my dual background in teaching and ballet, I offer a thoughtful and holistic approach to learning.
I teach students of all ages and abilities, from young beginners taking their first steps in ballet to more advanced dancers. I also offer opportunities for adults who wish to explore dance or fitness in a supportive environment.
Students can expect engaging, well-structured classes in a positive and inclusive atmosphere. My focus is on building confidence, developing strong technique, and nurturing a love of dance in every student.
Yes, I have extensive experience preparing students for Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) examinations. I guide students through the process with careful planning and encouragement, helping them feel confident and well-prepared.
Absolutely. Beginners are always welcome, and classes are designed to be accessible, enjoyable, and encouraging for those new to ballet.
My dual background in education and ballet allows me to deliver classes that are both technically strong and developmentally appropriate. I use effective teaching strategies to support different learning styles, helping each student feel confident, supported, and motivate
